Nationality: Dutch, The Netherland
OBJECTIVES:
For me Kyokushin Karate is a way to perfect a person character and teaches the person how to merge his thoughts, soul and body. My main objective is to extend my Kyokushin Karate knowledge and experience to the next generation while preserving its culture etiquettes and ethics.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Currently, President of the Malaysian Kyokushin Karate in Gombak.
- 2007, Certified Head Referee.
- 2005, Certified Instructor and Head Instructor for the yearly held European karate training camp.
- 2004, had moved to Malaysia and joined the International Karate Organization I.K.O. Tezuka Group and was appointed the position of Branch Chief of the I.K.O. Tezuka Group Malaysia.
- 2002 – 2004, Primary Head Coach of the Dutch National Karate Team.
- 1991, started my own Karate Club named NIN-TAI which has long history in Holland. The club was handed to me by Shihan Alain Breugelmans. It was handed to one of my student again in 2004.
- 1991, Became Certified Instructor. The Certificate was conducted by Soshu Shigeru Oyama.
- 1986, Obtained his first Degree Black Belt.
- 1980, Started Kyokushin Karate Journey.
CHAMPIONSHIPS:
- 1984, 1st place Dutch National youth championship
- 1986, 1st place Dutch National championship
- 1988, 1st place Dutch National championship
- 1989, 1st place Dutch National championship
- 1991, 1st place Open Dutch (European) championship
- 1993, 1st place Open Dutch (European) championship
